Niente Day2 stavolta per Dario Alioto e Max Pescatori. Chiuse le buste nell’Evento n. 55 $10.000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship delle World Series of Poker 2025 all'Horseshoe & Paris Casino di Las Vegas. I due sono usciti in un torneo dal field di 176 giocatori che, dopo 10 livelli di gioco, si è ridotto a 91. Tuttavia questo numero aumenterà, dato che le iscrizioni sono aperte fino alle 14:15 circa ora di Las Vegas del Day 2.
Al comando c’è il membro della Poker Hall of Fame John Hennigan, seguito da Chris Vitch come unico giocatore a superare la soglia dei 300.000. Altri giocatori ad aver intascato un grosso stack sono stati Marco Johnson (274.000), Justin "Boosted J" Smith (208.500), Mike "The Mouth" Matusow (208.000) e Scott Seiver (206.500).
Altri giocatori che hanno superato il turno sono stati Brad Owen (196.500), altri membri della Poker Hall of Fame come Huck Seed (190.000) e Todd Brunson (189.000), Chad Eveslage (152.500), Shaun Deeb (140.500), Benny Glaser (138.000) e "Texas" Mike Moncek (98.000).
Purtroppo, non tutti sono stati così fortunati il primo giorno. Tra coloro che hanno tentato di uscire ci sono stati Calvin Anderson, Viktor Blom, Anthony Zinno, Allen Kessler, Jeff Madsen, Adam Friedman, Yuval Bronshtein, Eddie Blumenthal, Gershon Distenfeld, David Baker (sia Bakes che ODB) e Nick Schulman.
Il Day2 del torneo inizierà giovedì alle 13 (alle 22 ora italiana) e sono previsti altri otto livelli di gioco.
